About the Business
1A Acclaim Carpet Cleaners was established in 1975 by Terry Barnes shortly after leaving the Royal Air Force and has remained a family run business for over 40 years. Terry worked long and hard days and sometimes nights, building the reputation and experience into the company.
Carpet cleaning was a relatively new service back in 1975 so customers were few and hard to find. Gradually Terry discovered the best products and machines to use. Having the right equipment was critical which is why 1A Acclaim continually invest in the most powerful truckmounted machines available. This has been a major factor in our success along with his superior knowledge and attitude to always surpass everybody's expectations.
All this knowledge and expertise has been passed down to Jon and Justin along with up to date training of new methods and techniques.
