Dundee, ScotlandDo NOT use this company! This review is for 'cleaning' carried out in July 2019. £150.00 was charged for a 'deep clean' after a tenant had moved out. My kitchen oak worktops were irreversibly damaged by A&R. It was obvious that harsh chemicals sprayed onto the tiled wall had dripped down and burnt the wood. Two experienced joiners confirmed that the stains were 'acid burns'. There are other such acid burns from A&R's cleaning products on the kitchen chairs, table and living room fireplace. When I entered the flat the smell of harsh chemicals actually gave me a headache which I very rarely suffer from. Later in the day I switched on the oven and the flat was filled with burning chemical fumes, the cleaners had forgotten to rinse off the cleaning products that had been liberally sprayed all over the oven including the element. Two of the knobs from the hob had been chucked in the cutlery drawer, the cleaners had removed them to clean underneath but obviously had not been able to replace them! Rafal the company owner, of course, denied that it could have been his cleaners and his products which left black, ugly and unremovable stains from the worktops. When Rafal did finally visit to inspect the mess he added insult to injury by blaming my 75-year-old mother. Just prior to the clean I had requested that the top of the kitchen cupboards and behind the fridge be cleaned...they weren't. The fact that his cleaners did not speak English cannot be used as an excuse as Rafal was there to translate my requests to them in person. Effectively I have paid A&R £150.00 to ruin £1500 worth of worktop and leave the flat in a worse condition than I had left it in, not to mention the electric sander that I had to buy and the hours of work I had to put in to try to rectify the damage, plus the inconvenience of daily e.mails and phone calls. As mentioned before the worktops are permanently damaged, the acid has burned them too deeply. I have posted photographs.
