About the Business
I am glad that I did as I am now married to a Barnstaple girl so this is my home now and what a lovely part of the country it is. Since getting married I decided in April to return to my former trade as a window cleaner. I enjoy the outdoors and meeting people while I work.
I prefer to clean windows the traditional way - by hand. Yes! I still use the squeegee, mop and scrim clothes because I am sure that many Barnstaple people still want windows cleaned this way. People in my home town most certainly did. They preferred the personal touch where all wood and plastic is wiped down, sill's washed and door sill's cleaned etc.
I take great pride in my work and I am fully insured. I am a member of The Master Guild of Window Cleaners. The Guild aims to benefit cleaners and their clients alike, by raising standards, improving work practices, ensuring its members are adequately insured and are always aware of the health and safety challenges that face them each day as they carry out their work.
