Excel Carpet Cleaning is a carpet cleaning company owned by Paul Noble who has 20 years experience in the cleaning industry. We mainly operate in the Essex area, with many repeat clients in the Chelmsford and Southend areas. However, due to being one of the more qualified carpet cleaners in Essex, we deal with a lot of high-end clients in London and sometimes even further afield where the need arises.

Unlike other carpet cleaners Paul is highly qualified and a member of the National Carpet Cleaners Association (NCCA) and the Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC). To be a member of the NCCA, you have to complete a 2 day course with exam and certification, teaching the basic level of upholstery carpet cleaning.

When it comes to commercial carpet cleaning, most restaurants and hotels will have wool based carpets so they are cleaned and can be protected in the same way as a domestic carpet. Office normally have propylene carpet tiles or carpets and these are cleaned in a slightly different way because certain stain removal chemicals can cause the backing to separate from the carpet itself. Due to the stain resistant nature of these, they don’t normally need to be protected. With our powerful and reliable up-to-date equipment we can confidently restore that brand new look to your carpets and upholstery.

When you choose Excel Carpet Cleaning for carpet cleaning upholstery, we will always ascertain what type of fabric your upholstery is, so as not to ruin the fibres and possibly shrink the entire furniture when it is cleaned. If the cleaning technician is trained properly, most upholstery cleaning can be done using a wet cleaning method. Through our training and experience we will be able to select the best method of carpet cleaning upholstery.

If you have stains on your upholstery, whilst we can deal with these individually, we recommend that the whole affected seating area is cleaned so that you don’t have spots that are then cleaner than the rest of it after the upholstery cleaning has been carried out.
